Hello, everyone!
You’ve found me! This is only one of the places where I hang out on the internet but it’s easily one of my favorites. Six of my favorite authors and myself have designed a place where, we hope, you will like to visit again and again. Every one of us has our own specified day that we’ll blog, giving you a glimpse of what’s on our minds. I’ll be here blogging every Wednesday. I hope you’ll come back regularly to see what we all have to say.
If you don’t already know who I am and what I do, I write erotic romance. I currently have many e-books and I am included in several print anthologies. I’m also a housewife, mother and photo lab technician. I love just about every type of book ever written. I’ve even read repair manuals to my husband’s chagrin.
It seems like I’ve been writing forever, but I’ll tell you a secret. I used to hate writing in school. It was probably because they told me what to write instead of allowing my creative juices to flow. Now that I’m an adult and can write pretty much what the heck I want to write, no one has been able to stop me. I’m married to a wonderful man. He’s a twenty year Navy veteran and I’m very proud of him. I also have two grown children, two big dogs, three cats and a Netherland dwarf bunny.
Since many people seem to want to know, I’ll tell you how I managed to get published. In February of 2006 a friend of mine challenged me. She wanted me to write a first person novel for any genre and do it in a month or less. I agreed and on February 22nd 2006 the race was on. By the 22nd of March, I had Virgin’s Blood, a novel about a girl who sees her best friend murdered. In a panic, or perhaps it was more a fit of rage, she shoots the man who killed her friend with his own gun. I zipped the manuscript off to my friend to read on the evening of March 22nd and she loved it. Now it was time to market it. I sent off a few queries and got a few responses and in early June 2006 I had a contract with Extasy Books. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Since that fateful day in 2006 I’ve written more books than I can keep track of. I have five series and several stand alone stories. My series are, The Chosen, Paradise, the Triad and Children of the Triad and Narian Rebirth. The Triad, Children of the Triad and the Narian Rebirth series are all co-written by my best friend and writing partner Bonnie Rose Leigh.
