The last few weeks so many things have seemed to pass me by. So many deaths, from Sen Kenneday to Farrah Fawcett, so many other trajedies from rising deaths surrounding elections in the middle east and increasing number of americans dying by roadside bombings as our warrioirs fight wars on foreign soldiers. Too often I turn off the television all together so that I can get lost in my make believe worlds or pick up another author’s book just so that for a short while I can forget about what’s going on outside my four walls.

Being in the hospital helps to keep real life from me, but then seeing things like this helps too. Meet Kevin Skinner. He just won America’s Got Talent this year. The Video quality isn’t the best, but when he sings, he reaches somewhere into the dephths of your heart and makes you smile no matter what else is going on around you. Close your eyes, and listen.
