I spent this last weekend at the Lori Foster event, the second year I attended in a row actually. I think I spent just about every waking moment of the 4 days away from home away from my computer writing, something I hadn’t done intentionally in forever. I did have my laptop with me, did have it open, but usually it was to upload photos or to write a blog post or to do something fun.

I tried to write at night once I would finally return to my room but it seemed the second my head hit the pillow I was out like a light, somthing that too never seems to happen here at home. I look forward to this event every year because not only do I get to go see many of my readers, but I get to see my best friend too, Tianna Xander.

It was a wonderful few days and already I’m counting down the time until I can go again. I’m already looking forward to it, despite the 12 hr  drive out there and back And I’m already planning the tote bags I’ll be diving away again next year for the auction. Like I said before I just can’t wait.

If you were there you would have seen me wearing my slippers beneath the table when they called me up for prizes because my feet and legs were completely swollen. I don’t know what was more shocking, being called up twice to win a basket whilte trying to sell my books, or having to jump up with my slippers on. LOL

Anyway, Despite everything that did go wrong on the admin end of things this year I’m still looking forward to attending next year. And to everyone I met, old friends and new, I can’t wait to see you again.
