Hello everyone,
I would like to start out, that I want everyone to mark their calenders. AJ will be interviewing me July, 22.
I have seen AJ interview other authors and I think that is a great service he is doing–helping other authors get exposure by talking about themeselves.
Thanks AJ
I wrote something to the exfactor today–June 12–I’m sure you have seen it or will see it eventually. It is addressed to Jay, but I wanted to get feedback not only from her but also from my fellow 7WW group.

Sometimes if producers of movies senses a particular picture is going to make a lot of money, they will actually make two versions of it at the same time.
Ex. the movie Vacation with Chevy Chase. In theatres the movie had nudity and vulgar language. When they showed it on TV later on, you can tell the secenes were remade for general audience. They probably shot the scene twice. Once for theatres and one for TV.
Now having said all that, I know Extasy has a sister company called Divine Destinies which is for non-erotic novels.
Would extasy accept an author’s submission of two stories of the same title. One erotic and one non-erotic. It would be the exact same story minus the sex,—or at least toned-down sex.
This would expose readers to two different genres in that one is erotic and one non-erotic. As a result, eXtasy might get more sales which would mean more money for the author.
I know that could be a lot of work for an author, but it might be worth it if the author feels his book would get more exposure.
Your thoughts, Jay and definitely thoughts from readers and other authors.
Does this all make sense, or have I completely lost it, here. LOL
….and how was your week.

Marc! Interesting twist — I like it! I really like it — two books, one story, one red hot, the other warm and fuzzy.
Go for it!

I really like that idea.If you have the time to write two versions, then I’d go for it if my publisher was open to it because you’re right, some people don’t like explicit sex while others do. I’d say if your publisher is willing, go for it.

I can hardly wait for the interview. As far as the 2 versions, mixed thoughts here.
