I basically work two jobs. One is the day job that pays the bills. The other is writing. I write because I love it. It’s a good thing too because if I thought it would make me rich, boy would I have been mistaken. The only authors who get rich are those on the NY Times bestseller lists or those whose books were made into blockbuster movies. No one I know has had that distinction yet. Anyway, I digress…

Since I work more than seventy hours a week on average, I really appreciate my time off. Next week I’m going on a camping trip. I’m leaving the dogs at the house with a sitter in case my stalker returns but for three glorious days I’m not going to be available through the normal means… okay, I might take the laptop because they have free wifi and I may do my blogging…but other than that I will have three beautiful days to my self and my family.

As many of you may know I’ll be in Ohio the week after for the Lori Foster reader author get together. I’m really looking forward to that trip. Even though it was technically business, it was a blast and I did have fun meeting some of my favorite authors.

So as you can see, I have some pretty fun things sceduled for me over the next few weeks. I plan to blog about both events and I plan to have a blast at both of them. I hope to see you at the Lori Foster get together and if I see you camping, just say, “Hey!”
