By A.J. Llewellyn
One of my secret, guilty pleasures is trolling the aisles of the 99 Cent Store. My goodaughter Eleanna and I have become proficient afficionadoes of the chain and whilst some of my friends are aghast that I shop there, many others are just like me.
Poor.
Recently, I’ve had so many bills - April was [...]
Senseless Acts
Something happened in my town this week. Something so horrible that most of our residents simply cannot wrap our minds around.
First of all, I live in a city, a city of approximately 52,000 residents. We are actually very modern, but in many ways we are still very much a small town with the warmth and [...]
Happy (Late) Friday
Hi everybody.
I almost forgot to blog today. I have been busy doing the finished touches on my Ferver Black Christmas sequal. Due in like two days. OMG
I want to thank my dear friend Desiree de Cleves for subbing for me last week.
I have been reading some of my fellow 7ww bloggers. Very interesting stuff.

What a day, erm … week!!
So, it’s just after one in the afternoon, so when you think about it, my post for today isn’t as late as I figured it would be. I woke up yesterday morning, or I should say, since I didn’t go to bed the night before, i was still up at 6 am when I started [...]
Finding Time
A lot of people ask me when I find the time to write. I write in the morning before I go to the day job. I write during my breaks at work and I write when I get home. I even write on my days off. I guess a person could say I don’t get [...]
Cyber Nagging
How much promo is too much? Is there really such a thing? In this economy where sales are sagging and it often seems like it’s every author for him or herself, can you ever get your name out there too much? When do you cross the line from simply promoting to downright badgering?
These were question [...]
A surprising supporter
Saw this a few weeks ago and figured I would share since I found it interesting. I found it interesting on different levels but I won’t go into the whole lengthy background here—dealing with a religious upbringing, the hypocrisy, people’s lack of open-mindedness, etc. Seeing this was a refreshing change.

Digger
By AJ Llewellyn
I heard a wonderfully funny story on the radio this morning about a New Zeand woman who went on an online auction site, her three year old perched on her lap as she bought him a few toys. Kid was happy, mom was happy. Mom then took a nap but the kid who at the [...]
My Exciting News!!!!! Two new contracts!!!!!
Sitting at my desk Monday morning, totally absorbed in a brief I was editing, my cell phone rang…coming out of the intensity of the brief I wasn’t quite sure I heard it the first time so I asked the caller to repeat the words she’d just said….loud and clear I got it — Siren-Bookstrand offered [...]
My Thoughts For The Week
This has been a crazy week for me, between doctor’s visits, promotions, writing deadlines and editing I have been swamped. LOL
My friend Marc Jarrod invited me to write today, so here I am. LOL Sorry this is coming so late in the day, next time Marc graciously invites me it will be much earlier. <smiles>
Now [...]
