I am an avid lover of animals. So like the rest of the world, I was captivated by Sam the Koala Bear. Sam was found, burned and dehydrated, a survivor of the wildfires. Sadly, Sam was one of the few lucky ones. It is believed that over one million animals perished in fires. Many others are injured and in desperate need of food and care. So when my fellow eXtasy author, Astrid Cooper, announced she was throwing a raffle to help out, I was more than eager to lend my support.
I wasn’t alone. Over thirty authors and artists have made donations, the proceeds of which will go to two different animal charities. Here is just a bit of information:
“Tickets cost $3 each or 5 for $10. All amounts are in Australian Dollars. (One Australian Dollar = 65c US approx).
