Hello Tianna Xander!

This week we take a look at Tianna Xander.  I asked her some quirky questions and got plenty of interesting answers!

Tianna’s favorite color is just about any shade of blue or purple.  Her favorite ice cream flavor? “Any type of chocolate, especially if it’s a mocha. But, let’s face it, ice cream is ice cream. I’ll eat just about any flavor as long as it’s not some kind of weird fruit or vegetable flavor. There’s nothing like the aftertaste left from an experimental mango flavor I had once. Yech!”  When asked about pets she said, “I have four cats, two dogs and a Netherland Dwarf bunny. I’d have a horse if I had a barn. I love all animals.”  And when asked about exotic pets she said, “I have had a wolf as a best friend though. Her name was Tavi. She’s waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge.”  Her preference for weather/season: “It doesn’t matter. There is something about every season that makes it my favorite when it’s not the season we’re currently in. LOL.”   As for where she’d live if she could live anywhere in the universe, “Somewhere where men didn’t cheat…ever, and it didn’t matter to handsome men if women weren’t perfect as long as they were sweet. In a perfect world…”  In regard to what time of day she prefers, Tianna states “I’m a night owl, definitely. I usually go to bed around three, though I do usually get up no later than nine or nine-thirty… ” Her favorite day of the week: “Mondays and Wednesdays because they are my usual days off from the day job and I get to relax by doing my laundry and cleaning my house…snort.”   Her favorite number: “It’s 3…shame on all of you who thought I would say 69…LOL Though I guess enough threes would make it that other number…hmm.”  When asked if athletic shoes are sneakers or tennies and if a soft drink is called soda or pop, she responded: ‘They’re shoes… I don’t wear sneakers, tennies, boots or pumps. To me they’re just shoes.’  & ‘Hmm… Having grown up in the South, it’s soda, living in the North it’s pop. I tend to call it whatever won’t get me teased in the area I’m currently in. Right now I guess it’s pop.’

Here’s a scenario posed to the author:  “You’re at a conference and an agent comes up to you and says, “I’ve seen your name on the web.  I’m interested in taking you on as a client.  You have a couple of minutes to wow me to convince me that I should.” You can only plug one book in this short amount of time.  What book would you plug to land this contract and why?”  Tianna’s response:  Grin. “Wow, gee, I don’t know what to say… Thank you.” My mind whirs with possibilities. Which one, which one? Make up your mind, you goofy bitch before he walks away! I suddenly latch onto my favorite because the hero has my hubby’s personality. “Let me tell you about my book, Alicia: The Awakening, published by eXtasy Books. It was released in October of 2006 and has had the most wonderful reviews. It’s been a recommended read at two different review sites and to my knowledge has never received a poor written review.” I dig around in the lower levels of my upper consciousness for the log line. “Protecting her was his right. Saving him was her salvation.” I smile and resist the urge to jump up and down. “And it’s just been released as part of a two novel print book at eXtasy Books and Amazon.com!”
