Confused Writer In Need Of Help

My birthday is little over a month away and I’m already plotting about what I want this year. Hey, just because I’m getting older doesn’t mean I still don’t want to make a good haul. I decided since I do write eBooks that maybe it’s time to step into this century and get an eBook reader.

My problem is, I have no clue which one to buy. I went trolling around the internet and I have read good and bad things about all of them. I looked at the Kindle, the Sony and a couple others, but I still have no idea where to start. Now, I don’t have much money to invest, so I need to get the most bang for my buck. Yet, I want something that will work and be reliable. So I thought I would put the question out there.

What reader do your use for you eBooks and why?

I have a Kindle. Not only can I read books from amazon but I can transfer word docs, pdf (though the formatting doesn’t tranfer perfectly), mobi, & html files, so I don’t have a problem even reading my WIP’s on it. Though expensive to purchase, the amount of savings on books I’d normally buy through Amazon anyway has already covered the cost of my machine and I’ve had it about 6 months–though I do read a lot. Hope this helps.
